Our commitment
We want every carer, doctor and manager to be able to train with us. This platform is built to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA: semantic structure, keyboard navigation, visible focus indicators, sufficient colour contrast and reduced-motion support.
What we've done
All interactive elements are reachable and operable by keyboard; pages use landmarks and a logical heading order; animations are disabled when your system requests reduced motion; video lessons include captions; quizzes have no time limits and unlimited retakes; text can be resized to 200% without loss of function.
Known limitations
Some older PDF resources may not yet be fully tagged for screen readers — we are re-issuing these. Live session captioning depends on the video platform used; ask us in advance and we will arrange support.
Alternative formats and support
If any part of a course is inaccessible to you, contact us and we will provide the content in an alternative format or arrange reasonable adjustments for assessments — including extra time, oral evidence for workbooks, or in-person support at our Raunds centre.
