A single ladder from entry-level care work to registered management
The Career Progression Programme will be delivered in full once Bwaraat Academy becomes an appropriately accredited and approved centre. It is shown here so learners and employers can plan, but enrolment is not yet open.
Each level combines a recognised qualification with the practical training and competency assessment that make it meaningful in a real service.
Care Worker
Mandatory care training and the foundations of safe, person-centred practice.
Advanced Care Practitioner
Specialist care modules and delegated clinical competence.
Senior Carer / Team Leader
Supervision, observation and day-to-day team leadership.
Deputy / Care Manager
Governance, quality improvement and service management.
Registered Manager
CQC readiness, safeguarding leadership, care governance, auditing, HR, complaints handling, inspection preparation and business/operational management.
Longer study modules supporting each level are in development and will be released alongside the accredited pathway.
